Overview
If you are looking to work within the Mental Health space or are looking for a change of pace, then a TMS Clinician might be the role for you.
As a TMS Clinician, you will be responsible for the safe and effective administration of TMS treatment to patients with chronic mental health conditions.
- Casual opportunities available (2 – 4 days/wk)
- Monday to Saturday
- Locations include Noble Park, Mount Eliza, East Melbourne, Ballarat, Albury
- Comprehensive training and opportunities for advancement
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Explain and administer TMS treatment to patients with chronic depression, and other psychiatric conditions
- Maintain clinical case notes and prepare reports
- Clinical risk assessments
- Administer psychometrics
- Participate in clinical case meetings and ongoing training
About You:
- A tertiary degree in psychology, nursing or other health-related field, with relevant mental health experience (ENs strongly encouraged to apply)
- Current AHPRA registration (or eligible for registration)
- Experience within mental health, particularly with complex psychiatric presentations including mood disorders.
- Maturity, sensitivity and empathy toward patients, with a focus on delivering high-quality care
- Excellent attention to detail and conscientiousness in following procedures
- Strong problem solving skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to work independently
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to delivering a positive, patient-centred care experience
